If you think it’s over for the other women who became part of the crazy second season of
Rock of Love, think again. While
Bret Michaels and
Ambre Lake are living happily ever after the reunion, the other women are trying to move on with their lives. Most importantly, our little runner up
Daisy dela Hoya is busy pursuing her musical career, with appearances all over the United States. In fact, Daisy will be heading to destinations such as California, Ohio, Washington, Nevada, Florida, New York and Texas in the coming months. For more information about venues, check out her
official MySpace page. Meanwhile, some of our
Rock of Love ladies are heading back to VH1 to compete for another crazy reality series that puts $250,000 up for grabs.
As previously reported, the newest VH1 reality series,
I Love Money, brings back contenders from
Flavor of Love,
I Love New York and
Rock of Love to compete for cold, hard cash. The
Rock of Love women chosen for this series are
Brandi C.,
Destiney,
Megan and
Rodeo. Let’s backtrack and recall who they were on
Rock of Love.
Brandi C. is from the first season of Rock of Love, where she first didn’t make much of an impression on Bret Michaels. However, she did make an impression when she walked out wearing her friend’s bikini. While on the show, she developed a friendship with
Kristia, and the two were soon tagged as the “Barbie Twins” due to their identical blonde look. She also gained attention by being one of the three women that spent the night with Bret. Brandi C was the 17th eliminated contender in the first season of
Rock of Love. In the reunion show, she revealed that she and Kristia remained good friends well after the competition, and moved in together.
Destiney Moore, on the other hand, may conjure more fresh memories in our minds. Debuting on
Rock of Love 2, Destiney successfully made it into the top three along with Daisy dela Hoya and Ambre Lake. Destiney previously auditioned for the first season of
Rock of Love but was not able to land a spot in the final casting. During a visit to a bar in Hollywood, she was spotted and asked to be on the show. While in the competition, Destiney had a conflict with
Kristy Joe and Megan.
Unfortunately for Destiney, she’s facing Megan again in
I Love Money. Megan Hauserman, who was among the top five women in
Rock of Love’s second season, is an accounting graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She is also a Playboy model who took the title of Playboy Cybergirl of the Week in February 2006. Her stint on
Rock of Love wasn’t the first for reality TV, as she has been on the third season of
Beauty and the Geek, in which she and her partner Alan Zackheim made it to the end of the competition.
Lastly, we have Rodeo, whose real name is Cindy Steedle. She’s a personal trainer from Newman, Georgia and is a mother of a seven-year-old boy. She was a great competitor at the beginning of
Rock of Love 2, but going deeper into the competition, she began missing her son more, and thus became highly emotional. Bret understood her situation and sent her home in the fourth episode, along with Brandi C.
How will these four Rock of Lovers endure the challenges that lie ahead now the prize is a whopping $250,000? Catch
I Love Money as it premieres on July 13 on VH1.
