Rock of Love Charm School: A Lesson for the Headmaster
Rock of Love Charm School: A Lesson for the Headmaster
Teachers will usually acknowledge the fact that they can still learn something from their students, even if the pupils are a bunch of wayward women with barely any remorse.  For Rock of Love: Charm School's Sharon Osbourne, it was difficult to admit.  She was given a tough job trying to tame the unruly mob that formerly competed for Bret Michaels' affections.  But Sharon Osbourne is certainly tougher than that, giving the girls the iron fist of rock and roll discipline.

Though given plenty of trouble on and off camera, Sharon Osbourne managed to confront all the boozing, feuds and screaming matches the girls threw at her.  However, on a recent interview, she admits that her experience in Charm School was comparable to the madness she had to endure growing up.

“I think really the hardest part, I must say, was keeping my temper,” Sharon revealed.  She also talked about how Megan would fare now that she's out of the game.  Heather was definitely pleased with what happened, but Megan took it hard.  Also, Sharon explained that she believes “Megan will always be unhappy unless everything's all about her.”

When asked about what surprises she got on the show, Sharon Osborne divulged that she actually learned something from the ladies.  “There's a reason for everything. These girls have had it pretty tough.  The majority of them, most of them have had it pretty, pretty tough in their lives.  They haven't had many breaks.”

Whether or not she related to the girls' experiences, Sharon added how she and her rock legend husband Ozzy Osbourne pushed past their own troubles.  “We were living a complete rock and roll lifestyle.  But at least I had some kind of a different upbringing.  It wasn't any better but it was very different and I was taught certain things on how to behave in certain ways... and I had it a lot easier than they did growing up, money-wise and education-wise.”

Sharing her own experiences to the Charm School girls, Sharon exclaimed on how she had to deal with groupie-like girls that might be similar to the show's contestants.  She tried her best not to stereotype the former Rock of Love girls as such though.  Having dealt with those sorts of people, Sharon learned how to get over it.  It's also something she wants others to discover.

“You just learn to get used to it.  It's like, look, it just speaks for itself and it was something I was trying to tell the girls: If you want to behave like that usual groupie, you'll always just be a groupie backstage.  You'll never be anything more.  You'll always just be a one-night stand.”
