The pink hue was easily spotted on the streets of St. Augustine, as the glam rocker
Bret Michaels' three tour buses rolled into their next location. The group was greeted by the students of Flagler College, who braved the rain to catch a glimpse of the star. Bret's crew visited St. George Street and the school to film the third installment of his reality TV series,
Rock of Love.
In the show's past two seasons, Bret Michaels searched for love in a mansion filled with dozens of scantily clad ladies. Now, his tour bus has made its way to St. Augustine. Flagler College students rushed out to see whether the rock n' roll celebrity or his new batch of girls would make an appearance. They weren't that disappointed however, as they caught sight of Michaels' security guard emerging. The bus was parked right outside Villa Zaroyda, and the students recognized Big John, Bret's right-hand man, immediately.
The tattooed Big John, a mass of a man sporting Marine Corps designs all over, keeps the contestants of
Rock of Love in order. He is also in charge of many aspects of the show overall. John mingled with the fans and took pictures with them as well. He even shared his Boston Red Sox fondness with Leigha Bonfiglio, a sophomore student from Newton, Massachusetts.
John revealed that Bret Michaels was scheduled to arrive Wednesday night, while the contestants of
Rock of Love were already getting settled at the Casa Monica Hotel. There wasn't a lot of information divulged about the show, only that some of the girls had already been cut. The episode featuring the location in St. Augustine would likely be a few weeks into the season, which will debut in January on VH1.
Hitting the road with Bret Michaels, John explained that the superstar's search for love will be having a different twist. He said that the new season of
Rock of Love will feature “new crop of girls, and we're taking them out on the road, which is where we live.”
