Rock of Love: Bret Michaels Comes Up with "Roses and Thorns"
A number of celebrity autobiographies have been popping up lately, and Bret Michaels is one to join the bandwagon.  The star of VH1's Rock of Love Bus reality dating series has confirmed that he's ready to release a book which would “give people the untold story.”

Titled Roses and Thorns: The Rock ‘n' Roll Fantasy to My Reality, the memoir is scheduled to hit bookshelves in June.  According to the Poison frontman, the book will tell readers everything they need to know regarding the details of his life.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

“It gives you the sex, the drugs, the rock 'n' roll, but it also gives you the diabetes.  It gives you every aspect of my life and what I'm going through.  I think it's pretty frank.  It's honest.  It's at times self-deprecating.  It's about what happens when you try to live out your dream and the reality of it all sets in and it's the hardest and the strangest thing you will ever do,” Michaels told Billboard.com.

The Rock of Love bachelor continued to reveal what Roses and Thorns has in store.  He said that it contains intimate details about his feud with guitarist CeCe DeVille.  “One of the most therapeutic things to write was (about) the constant battle between CeCe and myself and the reality of why it is constantly there and why it exists,” he admitted.  “Getting into a fist fight with someone who is your friend is one of the harder things to live with, much less write about.”

Meanwhile, his reality show is also getting a lot of attention.  Since the series is scheduled to end this April, Michaels couldn't help but say a few words.  “I'm having a blast,” he exclaimed. “I think if you see the show, it's as real as can be.  I'm not trying to play this holier-than-thou rock star.  I'm just trying to play and (am) having a good time dating.  And It's allowed me to have that much TV exposure, which definitely hasn't hurt. I'm certain not complaining.”
