Twenty-four year old Erin Martin of Los Angeles, California was born in Michigan and lived in Berrien Springs until she was 17 years old. Being a rebel at heart, she moved out to discover the world and taste real freedom. By living alone, she has gone through a lot of challenges, lessons and heartache. She got her first serving job at a night club called Barney's Boathouse in St. Joseph, Michigan, where she claims to have discovered herself and what she really wanted to do with her life. Erin then began a three-year-long relationship with a young man from Bridgman, moving to Bloomington, Indiana, where he was pursuing his musical career. However, when they broke up, Erin moved back to Michigan to work at an advertising agency.
Erin's modeling career began when she was only 14 years old, and she has worked with Aria and Ford Models, and is now with Elite Chicago. Her parents had early on exposed her to theater, so she was used to working on and behind the scenes. Having a passion for acting and modeling, she worked on commercials and print ads for various companies.
When Erin was 23 years old, she moved to the city and found a place in Hyde Park, Chicago. She began her musical career by singing and playing the guitar, as well as writing music and doing rough recordings. She owes her musical abilities to her friend and fellow artist, Joseph Chopin, who taught her lessons and gave Erin her first guitar.
Three months later, Erin finds herself as one of 20 contenders to compete for the heart of Bret Michaels in the VH1 reality dating series, Rock of Love 2. As Bret Michaels came up to the mansion, he picked four women to hand over VIPs. The lucky women called out were Daisy, Megan, Destiney and Erin. During Erin's alone time with Bret, she talked about her passion for music and how much she loves MySpace because it taught her things about world events and HTML code. This conversation made Bret extremely bored and unimpressed. Later, Erin became worried because she was not the fourth woman to be called to get one of the coveted VIP passes. Erin was then eliminated along with Ashley, Missy and Courtney in the first episode.
