Her father was strict, but she believes that it is what made her who she is today. She graduated from Troy State University in Alabama with honors, earning her bachelor's degree in music and dance and immediately pursued a master's degree in fine arts with emphasis in acting and dance from Michigan State University. She is currently working as a TV host and actress, and is having the time of her life with her career. Ambre's interests include football, working out and dancing. She also enjoys art, and likes going to photo galleries and art museums.
As an actress, Ambre debuted on Sweet Home Alabama, where she played the wedding coordinator. More recently, she filmed Eden Court with Stephanie Weir and Tom Lennon. She is also currently working on the TBS series entitled Blotter Series. In April 2006, Ambre appeared on the cover of Milwaukee Magazine.
Ambre is one of 20 contenders to win the heart of rock star Bret Michaels in the VH1 reality dating series, Rock of Love 2.
On the season finale, Bret Michaels chose Ambre as his rock of love, beating out Daisy. Though Ambre was nearly eliminated in the first episode, she successfully made a connection with Bret without resorting to childish antics or overt sexuality.
