Rock of Love: Brandi C. Says Lacey is Sweet
Lacey Conner's behavior on
Rock of Love easily made her one of the show's villain, but fellow finalist
Brandi C. has been quick to defend the aspiring musician, saying she hopes the public will have the opportunity to see Lacey's more positive side.
“She's actually one of my favorite people,” Brandi C. wrote on her MySpace blog. “I really hope that people get a chance to see how sweet she really is when she's not on a competition reality TV dating show.”
She also said that she continues to see Lacey, along with
Rock of Love runner-up
Heather Chadwell and
Kristia.
On the show, Brandi C. and Kristia became known as the Barbie Twins, and during the reunion special, which aired on October 7, the two revealed that they enjoyed each other's company so much that they decided to become housemates in real life.
“We are [kind of] boring at times, watching TV and whatnot but other times are just insane by accident,” Brandi C. said in her MySpace. “We usually do our makeup in the same bathroom [because] we share a lot of stuff. We accidentally dress the same all the time, and she does my hair extensions… So it's good, we are a good match. Also, we're compatible astrologically, she's an Aries, and I'm a Sagittarius.”
On the other hand, Brandi C. proved incompatible with Poison frontman Bret Michaels. She was eliminated early on in the competition, and ultimately, Michaels chose
Jes Rickleff as the winner. However, the two went their separate ways shortly after the end of
Rock of Love.
Recently, VH1 announced there would be a second season of the reality dating series, with Michaels still serving as the bachelor. However, fans should not expect for Brandi C. to try her luck with the rock star again.
“I'd make a cameo, but Bret already made his mind up that I was too young or whatever he was saying... I only give guys one chance,” she wrote. However, this is not to say that she is closing the door on reality television.
“I really love everyone at VH1 and 51 Minds,” Brandi C. said. “Plus my life is something that needs to be seen to [be believed], too much crazy [stuff] happens on a minutely basis.”
