VH1 production crew will roll into town as Bret Michaels heads to Hoover, Alabama at The Iron House Café on Friday, October 3.  Aside from performing at the concert, the Poison frontman will be giving fans an early special peek at what goes on behind the cameras and will give fans the opportunity to be part of Rock of Love Bus, which begins airing in January on VH1.

The third installment of the Rock of Love reality dating series, Rock of Love Bus follows Bret Michaels as he tries to find love yet again after failed relationships with season 2 winner Ambre Lake and first season pick Jes Rickleff.  This time, he'll be taking the contestants out of the mansion and on the road “in true rock star style.”  As the rock star bachelor goes on a month-long tour, hopefuls vying for his heart will follow him across America while facing new challenges to determine if they can handle the rock and roll life style.

In other Rock of Love news, an unfortunate incident occurred recently when two tour buses for Rock of Love were heading to Texas.  According to TMZ, a truck driver, who goes by the name of David D. Hernandez, hauling a load of sound equipment for the show caused a crash that killed two people and severely injured two more.

The Illinois State Police reported that Hernandez fell asleep at the wheel on Friday while on Interstate 57 in West Frankfort, Illinois.  Subsequently, his truck crossed the median and hit two vehicles.  In one car, two 19-year-old female passengers were killed, and in the second car, an older couple suffered serious injuries and were airlifted to the Barnes-Jewish Hospital.

Hernandez, who sustained minor injuries, was charged with driving with a suspended license and four other traffic violations.

Meanwhile, VH1 has yet to comment on the tragedy.
