After a highly successful, in fact Emmy-nominated Star Wars-inspired episode of Robot Chicekn, the Adult Swim sketch program is not stopping on its heels, as it summons The Force once again for Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II, which is set to debut on November 16.

"We're thrilled to get to make 'Episode II;' it doesn't even seem real--getting to make Star Wars twice!" says co-creater Seth Green, who also won an Annie Award for directing the first special.  "We're so excited and bursting with joy."

“With this second special, we knew we had to do something a bit different, something more," adds co-creator Matt Senreich.  "With that in mind, we decided to focus on the bounty hunters a bit and explore their stories.  It's a geek-fest for us all."

As with the first one, Episode II will feature the voices of Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, Billy Dee Williams as Lando Carissian, Ahmed Best as Jar Jar Binks, Seth MacFarlane as Emperor Palpatine, Breckin Meyer as Admiral Ackbar and Boba Fett, Conan O'Brien as Zuckuss and Donald Faison, plus comedian Andy Richter.

Robot Chicken is a sketch program that parodies pop culture conventions, particularly television shows and motion pictures.  It makes use of stop motion animation and utilizes toys, dolls, claymation and action figures.  It stars a Frankenstein-like chicken that has been reincarnated as a cyborg, very much in Star Trek Borg fashion, after getting run over by an automobile.  His maker is mad scientist Fritz Huhnmorder (from the German word Hühnermörder meaning chicken murderer) who tortures and torments Robot Chicken by forcing it to watch television shows.  Robot Chicken is a part of Cartoon Network's Adult Swim line-up.
