Monroe's reunion with his son, Connor, has gone surprising well. That changes in "Fear and Loathing" after they are caught stealing in New Vegas. Their punishment is a Father vs. Son fight to the death. In order to save his son's life, Monroe comes clean about why Connor was sent to Mexico and what happened to his mother.

Last week, I visited the Revolution set to talk with the cast about what's coming up. First up, David Lyons and Mat Vairo discuss Monroe and Connor's relationship, the fight, and how the truth affects their characters going forward.

David Lyons Interview

Highlights from the interview:

  • The cage fight is "a little nasty."
  • Biggest spoiler -- That David Lyons is still around.
  • Monroe sees his legacy through Connor. He will live on through his son.
  • Before the fight, Monroe tells Connor the truth. It affects Connor throughout.
  • Monroe's confession takes courage, but it's the only way that he can get Connor to take him out.
Mat Vario Interview

Highlights from the interview:

  • Connor had started to warm up to Monroe. The truth: "It's a betrayal of trust."
  • "It's a heartbreaking blow." for Connor.
  • Going forward, Connor becomes more suspicious of his father.
  • At the same time, Monroe is the "only sure thing" he has in his life.
  • Charlie is the female in Connor's life, but he doesn't really trust anyone.
