Viewers on the East Coast who missed out on Monday's episodes of
The Voice and
Revolution on NBC due to Hurricane Sandy coverage will get another chance to watch the shows.
NBC has decided to rebroadcast its Monday night programming this Thursday and Friday, preempting previously scheduled programming.
The Voice's first Knockout Round episode will air Thursday at 8pm, preempting new episodes of
30 Rock,
Up All Night,
The Office and
Parks and Recreation.
Revolution will air Friday at 8pm, taking over previously scheduled repeats of
Go On and
Guys with Kids.
These changes are the latest in a long series of schedule adjustments due to Hurricane Sandy (now Superstorm Sandy).
CBS and the CW decided not to air their Monday night shows and
NBC and ABC are preempting new episodes of Private Practice, Go On and The New Normal Tuesday at 10pm for Hurricane Sandy coverage.
UPDATE: The episode of
30 Rock originally scheduled for Thursday (which is all about the upcoming presidential election) will now air Wednesday, October 31 at 8pm, replacing the last new episode of
Animal Practice.
With the delay of the four NBC Thursday night comedies, this marks 17 new episodes of television that have been preempted or postponed due to Hurricane Sandy.
