'Salem' First Look: Shane West and Seth Gabel Take on Witches

A new story of the Salem witch trials will be coming to television this spring in Salem. In this retelling, witches and supernatural forces are real and hysteria exists to rid the town of the evil. The tale is an adventure of both romance and horrors.

Salem was created by Brannon Braga (24, Star Trek: The Next Generation) and Adam Simon (The Haunting of Connecticut) and stars Janet Montgomery (Human TargetI), Shane West (NikitaER), Seth Gabel (FringeArrow), Ashley Madekwe (Revenge), Xander Berkeley (Nikita), Tamzin Merchant (Jane Eyre) and Elise Eberle (The Astronaut Farmer).

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

"There is something worse than a witch hunt. A witch!"


Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery) a powerful sorceress who is married to a wealthy, but elderly town leader, George Sibley. Her world is shaken to the core when her former lover and the town's native son, John Alden (Shane West), returns after years of war. 

Cotton Mather (Seth Gabel) is a local artistocrat and religious man who will go to any lengths to rid Salem of witches.
