. But she won't be crossing paths with Elena (Nina Dobrev) any time soon, as Samantha's only appearing in flashbacks: she will appear in "1912", an episode airing this February that revolves around the older Gilberts interacting with the Salvatores.

's Margaret Colin is headed to CBS' Blue Bloods

. She'll play an investigative reporter who's been keeping a secret long-distance relationship with Frank (Tom Selleck) -- but the secret threatens to unravel when he has to track a bad guy going after his love. The two previously appeared together in the film Three Men and a Baby.
The episode will air this March.
Colin Hanks gets personal on Happy Endings:
killer will appear the ABC comedy as, well, himself. Entertainment Weekly reports
that Hanks will be a new celebrity friend of Dave's (Zachary Knighton), thanks to his food truck becoming some sort of nightlife hot spot. His episode is slated to air later this season.
Azura Skye is getting Grimm:
alum (remember her as Cassie Newton, she who predicted her own death in the show's seventh season?) will appear in an upcoming episode of NBC's Grimm

. She'll play Robin Steinkeller, a B&B owner who also happens to be a Seltenvogel, a bird-like creature, who seeks Nick's (David Giuntoli) help. Her episode has yet to receive an air date.
