Reaper fans know Bret Harrison as the bounty hunter for Satan who tracks down evil souls that have escaped hell.  But prior to his new found mission, he has also been a slacker who went by life as effortlessly as possible.  Although he has a few things in common with his character, Sam Oliver, the 25-year-old actor reveals that he's actually quite ambitious.

“I found, from the earliest stage, that I was ambitious.  Not in terms of school.  I was a slacker in school.  But, I knew from a very early age, exactly what I wanted to do.  There's a peace to the guy who can say, ‘I don't know, but I'm figuring it out while I'm playing video games, eating pizza and drinking beer.'  I think the slacker has a happier life,” he told MediaBlvd Magazine.

Prior to landing his starring role on Reaper, Harrison played next-door neighbor Brad O'Keefe on Grounded for Life.  He was also known as a young professional trying to balance his social life with the pressures of working at major United States airline on the shot-lived series, The Loop.  His other credits included That '70s Show, The O.C., and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Though he slacks around once in a while, he continuously aims for big goals.  In fact, he wants to eventually produce and write a six-issue art comic, a dream he hopes to accomplish with the help of Reaper.

Meanwhile, he is focusing on his work on The CW series and hints on what may be in store for his character's future.  According to Harrison, if the show goes on, his character will eventually get to visit hell.

“We've all talked about it. It just depends.  This is one of those shows where you pray that it will go for a couple seasons.  If it does, and you let things just happen, the places that these shows can go [are] beyond anything I can think of.  It's not your standard family sitcom.  Even though it's a monster-of-the-week, or evil-demon-of-the-week, type of show, they're trying to infiltrate this mythology that segues into other episodes,” he said.
