Melinda Clarke Brings Sexy Back Tonight on 'Reaper'

Melinda ClarkeIt looks like Reaper fans will get the chance to see the devil in pretty fine company when Melinda Clarke drops by for a special appearance tonight.

We also have a few choice bits of information direct from one of Reaper's co-stars, Tyler Labine.  Labine plays slacker Bert “Sock” Wysocki, who assists hell's new recruit, Sam, as the latter does the devil's bidding.  Labine spoke to TV Guide a couple of weeks ago about his role, the show and what it's like working with the underworld's kingpin.

“He is probably the coolest man alive,” Labine remarked of his co-star, Ray Wise, who essays the role of the devil on Reaper.  “He's just a really cool guy and quite possibly one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.  No pretentions, no ego, just a nice, nice guy.  And he's so happy to be here.  He's like a cheerleader on set, he loves working here.”

In the same interview, Labine also revealed some spoilers to tonight's episode, which sounds to be particularly hot and steamy, with the sumptuous Melinda Clarke on board.  Clarke is best remembered for her role as Julie Cooper on The O.C., as well as her portrayal of the enigmatic Lady Heather in recurring stints on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

In tonight's Reaper, Wise as the devil dispatches Sam (Bret Harrison) on a plumbing job for a woman named Mimi (Clarke).  In his conversations with her, Sam realizes that she is the devil's current flame, although she thinks she's dating a businessman called Jerry.  Mimi introduces Sam to her daughter, Cady (guest Jessica Stroup) and finds himself drawn to her but fears that she could be the devil's spawn.  Meanwhile, Ben (Rick Gonzalez) doesn't want Sam and Sock to meet his family.

Labine told TV Guide that Reaper is on schedule to finish 13 installments before the ongoing writers' strike forces them to shut down.
