Johnny Devananzio's TV debut was on MTV's popular reality TV series The Real World: Key West in 2006.  His challenge debut was on The Real World/Road Rules Challenge: The Duel where he was the first man to be eliminated, right on the very first episode of the show.  He has since appeared on The Inferno III and Gauntlet III.  Although John's efforts in leading the group were appreciated, other challengers think he falls short in size and strength.  This is the reason why his name always comes up whenever there's an elimination discussion going on.
