-Comedy Bravo's Emmy-winning Queer Eye (previously known as "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy") features five openly homosexual guys who engage with one makeover candidate per episode. At the start of each episode, they usually raid the home of the person who will be receiving the makeover and list all the faux pas, especially fashion no no's, that the person is making. Then they set about coaching the person in an effort to impart upon the individual their superior sense of style and refinement. Oftentimes the clash in styles are absolutely outrageous.

Biography

Interior designer Thom Filicia was born on May 17, 1969, and was raised in Syracuse, New York. He earned his Interior Design degree from Syracuse University's Art and Design School. He is the owner of a highly-successful design firm Thom Filicia Inc., which works on commercial and residential establishments around the country. Filicia was chosen as one of House Beautiful magazine's Top 100 American Designers in 2006. His decorating style can be classified as modern classicism.

Filicia is the interior design expert on Bravo's hit reality show Queer Eye.
