Jai Rodriguez was born in Brentwood, New York on June 22, 1979. He is an actor and musician of Indian and Puerto Rican descent, and has acted on Broadway musicals Rent Zanna, Don't! He also made a guest appearance on One Life to Live, a daytime drama from ABC. Rodriguez has released a single under Arrive at Eleven Productions, an indie record record label. He is currently living in Los Angeles. Rodriguez is the culture expert on Bravo's hit reality series Queer Eye.
