Carson Kressley was born in Pennsylvania on November 11, 1969. Before his career in fashion, he was an equestrian, and he was a member of the U.S. World Cup Saddle Seat equitation team. He graduated with honors from Gettysburg College in 1991, majoring in finance and fine art. He worked as an independent stylist for Ralph Lauren, and branched on to other endeavors, such as film and television projects. Kressley is set to launch his own fashion line called Perfect.

Kressley is the fashion savant on Bravo's hit reality series Queer Eye.
