David Walton


Actor David Walton was born October 27, 1978 in Boston Massachusetts.  He graduated from Brown University in 2001.  He also attended British American Drama Academy and The Actor's Center Summer Conservatory.

In 2002, he was chosen for the role of Eric on the short film drama Fighting Still Life, which was written and directed by Dori Oskowitz.  He was also part of the 2004 independent movie Stateside.  Written and directed by Reverge Anselmo, Stateside starred Val Kilmer and Rachel Leigh Cook.  It won the Jury Award for Best American Indie at the Sonoma Valley Film Festival.

Walton recently played Ricky on the action TV series Heist.  He was also seen on the sitcom The Loop.  His other TV appearances include playing Dave on New Car Smell and playing Liam Connor on Cracking Up.  Walton also appeared on an episode of The World According to Barnes.

Danny Franklin is played by David Walton on NBC's Quarterlife.  The show is an adaptation of an online series and social network with the same title.  It centers on the lives of six twenty-something artists as they come of age.  Danny, an aspiring filmmaker, is also business partner and roommate to Jed.  He used to be Debra's boyfriend but the couple broke up when he cheated on her.
