The Pussycat Dolls Present: 'Girlicious' Talks About the Competition and Their Future Plans
Fresh from The Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, Nichole, Tiffanie, Natalie, Chrystina are the four happy girls who were able to land a record deal with Geffen Records, the people who made their debut self-titled album possible.  In fact, the group has already released two videos, “Like Me” and “Stupid S---,” and their album will be hitting retail stores on July 1st.  Now that they have got the ball rolling, the girls sit down to talk about their experiences on the reality competition, which trained them to become the sassy young performers they are now.

“When you are on reality TV you can’t get away with stuff you would have in real life,” the 18-year-old Nichole Cordova told Reality Wanted.  “So that caused some problems between the girls.”

Being in the house with 15 girls with ages ranging from 17 to 21 would definitely bring on the drama, and the four finalists admitted that at one point, they got thrown into the intensity of the competition as well.

“I basically had a problem with the whole house.  Charlye, Tiffanie and I had some problems, there was a lot of drama in the house,” 20-year-old Chrystina of San Diego, California said.  “Basically when you move a bunch of girls in the house with nothing to do there is going to be drama and clicks.”

“It is a competition so of course you are looking for the other girls weaknesses.  I wanted to win and have a spot in the group,” 19-year-old Natalie Mejia said.  When the final four emerged, though, it seemed as if things did change.  After coming a long way, the girls got to know each other and create a unique bond.

“The girls and I bonded so hard, we are pretty much sisters.  We hang out with each other a lot,” Chrystina admitted.  “It was hard for me to put aside my differences, but when we came together we realized what we have.”

Natalie, on the other hand, revealed, “Chrystina and I gelled from the beginning.  We are so close now even though we had some differences before.”

Now that the competition is over, the girls are busy with their projects, which include a two-year, multimillion dollar deal with Sexy Hair Concepts, the Chatsworth, California-based firm which specializes in manufacturing volume-generating hair products. The deal will include $3 million expenditure by the company to produce print advertising featuring Girlicious.

“The things the company is moving toward are youth, sexiness and diversity,” said Jim Morrison, chief executive officer of Sexy Hair.  “If you look at these four girls, it is sort of United Colors of Benetton.  It was a natural fit and didn't take us long to make a decision.”

Meanwhile, fans could catch Girlicious girls as they will appear for an interview on The Playbook, which airs during Spike's Monday Night Movie at 9pm on May 19 on SpikeTV.
