There appears to be a lot of viewers out there who have yet to tune in to Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious.  The CW reality competition has averaged only a few million viewers per week, proving that the country may not be ready for another sexed up girl group.  Or perhaps America is just too wrapped up in that other big singing competition that's happening on the FOX network.  If you're one of the people who has been curious about the show but has yet to tune in, you'll definitely want to check out tonight's hour-long recap special.  The episode will include highlights from the first six episodes of the series, as well as unseen catfights and other outtakes.

It'll be interesting to see if there were any exciting moments left on the cutting room floor, though I have to imagine that most of the juicy drama already made it into the series.  When I recently interviewed Ilisa and Cassandra, both girls mentioned a touching, spontaneous sing-along that they hoped would make it into this episode.  While it'd be nice to see some of the bonding moments between the girls, the producers will probably be more interested in showing us more of Charlye's kitchen tantrum or Natalie's vocal meltdown.

What's your opinion on these recap specials?  America's Next Top Model also has one every season, and I have to admit that I never bother to watch it.  I'd much rather these shows follow the Bravo model and have reunion specials instead of bothering with outtake episodes.  Considering how fun the reunions are for Project Runway and Top Chef, I'm sure they'd be a blast for Top Model and Girlicious as well.
