It has been a busy summer for Pussycat Dolls' lead vocalist Nicole Scherzinger. She's been putting the final touches on her first solo album, Her Name is Nicole, due out in October of this year. The first single, Whatever U Like, featuring the rapper T.I., was released on July 24, and is currently sitting in the number 30 spot on the Top 100 Hip-Hop/Rap Songs on iTunes. She has been filming the video for the song and it is expected to be released this month.
Additionally, as we reported recently here on BuddyTV, it's also been noted that she is in talks to appear as herself in the CBS dramatic series
Cane, adding another small screen credit to her resume. And now, it sounds like she is considering taking the jump to the big screen.

I think Kim Kardashian is joining the PCD lounge show, not the actual singing group.

u know.. i think that they shouldnt add any one not even asia because now its getting to be a problem with ...
Recently, she's discussed wanting to find a role in a romantic comedy, saying that she has an inherent “goofiness” that makes her a natural fit for a comedic role.
There has been no word yet on any actual movie roles in the works for the lead Doll. However, with so much press lately about what Nicole is doing other than being lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, one wonders if Asia Nitollano's decision not to join the group wasn't just an embarrassment for the network that staged the talent hunt in the reality series Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll. Her opting to pursue a solo career now seems like a potentially major inconvenience for the group whose lead singer seems to be so very actively pursuing outside opportunities.
Rumors about Aubrey O'Day from Danity Kane joining the band appear to be fizzling out, and next season of Pussycat Dolls Present will be to find a whole new group – Girlicious – not just one new Doll. So if Nicole is in fact starting to create her exit strategy, maybe she will stick around long enough for Robin Antin to put on a third season of Pussycat Dolls Present, where they Search for the Next Doll…Again.
