Pussycat Dolls, Girlicious Hit Awards Show Circuit with Promotional Gigs
With all sorts of major and not so major awards taking place in the calendar, both the parent Pussycat Dolls and their most recent by-product (for lack of a better term) are making their presence felt with album-promoting performances.  Over the weekend, the original Pussycat Dolls provided one half of the two main acts on the bill at the MTV Movie Awards.

Meanwhile, their Girlicious counterparts from the latest Pussycat Dolls Present reality tilt are also on tap for the upcoming 19th Annual MuchMusic Video Awards later this month.

The four Girlicious ladies will be among the list of acts scheduled to grace the 19th edition of the Annual MuchMusic Video Awards (MMVA) which will take place June 15.  This will be the all-female quartet's baptism of fire at the MMVAs.  Since emerging triumphant in Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, the four women have come out with the sultry single entitled “Like Me.”  The tune has consistently and repeatedly made it to number one on MuchOnDemand's The Daily 10, aside from being among the Top 5 streamed videos on MuchAXS.

Turning our attention back to the mother of all pussycat incarnations, the Pussycat Dolls took the stage Sunday, regaling the crows at this year's MTV Movie Awards with their latest offering, “When I Grow Up.”  It is the first track from the Dolls' upcoming sophomore album to follow up on their unbelievable smash eponymous debut CD.

In related news, Pussycat Dolls lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger, has indicated her desire to record a duet with Amy Winehouse.  This, following her recent declaration that she was putting her floundering solo career on hold to rededicate herself to the PCD cause.

“I'd love to hook up with Amy.  I'm not sure what she thinks of us, but I think we can make a sexy sound that will sell,” Scherzinger was quoted saying recently.
