Anastacia Biography:

Anastacia is originally from San Francisco, California, and works as a make-up artist and choreographer in West Hollywood, California. She also takes some time to refine her dancing and songwriting skills. In 2007, she became one of the nine finalists in the CW reality television series, Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll. Anastacia has been a big fan of the music troupe since they released their first CD. She maintains good friendships with her fellow Next Doll finalists, Sisely Treasure and Mariela.

Anastacia was the fifth finalist eliminated from Pussycat Dolls Presents: The Search for the Next Doll. On the week of her elimination, she was unable to win the oppotunity to perform as a background singer at a Pussycat Dolls events show. Also, Anastacia, along with the remaining finalists, were placed into only one group. They were asked to perform three different songs, and even though Anastacia felt her performance that week was her best ever, she was the one chosen to go home.
