We are just a little over a week away from the new premiere of
Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. Once again, the search is on for the right combination of talent, sass and sexiness to be part of
Robin Antin's Pussycat Dolls universe. Unlike the first season though,
Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious will be looking for more than one girl to fill the fishnets and stilettos. This group of 15 hopefuls will have to claw their way into a coveted spot while also maintaining enough civility between the final bunch to actually form a group together.
Shows like
Making the Band have taught us that, well, making a band doesn't necessarily also mean making nice, so it's safe to still expect some drama from the series. Robin Antin recently shared more scoop on what we'll see this season.
Robin told Reality TV World that this season will feature one contestant encountering one unexpected physical challenge.
Robin said, “All I know is I came into rehearsal one day and I'm ready to rehearse and I'm like, ‘Uh, where's
Jenna?' She just wasn't showing up, she wasn't showing up. I was like, ‘What's going on? Where's Jenna? All of a sudden, this door flies open and in she comes in a wheelchair. I'm like, What the hell!' She comes in in a wheelchair, and she tells me she's okay, that everything's going to be okay. I'm like, ‘Wait a minute. You're okay, but you're in a wheelchair?! So can you dance in a wheelchair?'”
Robin also shared more details on who will be guest-starring on this season. Pop star Nelly Furtado will be on hand, and in the past, we've heard a boy bander will be making an appearance. She still hasn't revealed who this person is, but she had confirmed that it's a former member of N'Sync. (Hmmm…the girls just serenaded Justin Timberlake recently...)
She commented that the boy bander is there to give the
Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious contestants a reality check about teamwork, saying he told them, "Look! You want to be in a group? You better learn to be in a group. Because to be in a group is not easy. These are going to be your sisters. You've got to love them, you've got to respect them."
You can tune in for all the drama when the show premieres on the CW on Monday, Feb 18.
