Since they first broke into the world stage, the Pussycat Dolls have successfully shocked and awed audiences with their long legs, taut bodies, come-hither stares, skimpy outfits, and oh, yeah, hooky dance tunes and girl-power lyrics. Now back with their new single from their upcoming second album, the Dolls are pulling out all the stops and calling in all connections to get “When I Grow Up” out there.
No less than the toxic former princess of pop has become the latest poster girl for the Pussycat Dolls' brand-new offering.
So impressed was Britney Spears with the PCD's live performance of their latest tune during the recent MTV Movie Awards, that she was allegedly “totally down to do” a cameo in the “When I Grow Up” video. An unnamed informant told
Us Magazine that Spears filmed a small part in the said Pussycat Dolls video.
For its part, UsMagazine.com claims that a source on the set told them the pop star has no interactive parts or performances with the Pussycat Dolls in the video. The
Us Magazine informant also relayed that Spears shot her sequences at the Warner Bros. lot Wednesday of last week, while the Dolls filmed their footages in Hollywood.
"In the scene shot [Wednesday], Britney is driving in a car," the source for
US Magazine said further. "They all wave at each other as they are passing in traffic - that is it.”
The mole on the set did, however, assure that Britney was in her best form and had a blast doing her cameo.
“Of course, Britney looks hot and blonde,” the informant remarked. “It is a very short sequence, but [Britney] had a lot of fun with it.”
Britney Spears is fresh from a two-episode stint on the sitcom
How I Met Your Mother, while the Pussycat Dolls are just about to unveil the video for “When I Grow Up” on MTV's new show,
F'N MTV on Friday the 13th.
