Born Kristi Dawn Chenoweth on July 24, 1968 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Kristin Chenoweth is a graduate of Oklahoma City University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in musical theater and a master's degree in opera performance. She is a coloratura soprano who also won a first runner up in the Miss Oklahoma pageant in 1991. Her theater career was launched in 1997 when she appeared in a production entitled Scapin, which led her to take on more Broadway roles, eventually winning a Tony award in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown. In television, she starred in the short-lived sitcom Kristin, and had a recurring role in The West Wing. Her other appearances include those in Bewitched, The Pink Panther, RV, Stranger Than Fiction, Running with Scissors and Deck the Halls.
Olive is played by Kristin Chenoweth in the television series Pushing Daisies. Olive is a waitress at the Pie Hole where Ned the pie-maker works, and displays a strong attraction towards him. She is also his next-door-neighbor and watches his dog Digbee for him.
