Previously on Pushing Daisies: Chuck learned the truth about her father's death and vowed never to forgive Ned.

Pushing Daisies premiered in October of 2007 to rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Yet, fans only received part of the story that they should have when season 1 aired. Due to the writers' strike, Pushing Daisies was only able to air 9 of what was supposed to be a 22 episode season. The show finally returns, to pick up where it left off, on October 1st.

Pushing Daisies tells the story of Ned (Lee Pace), the owner and head pie maker at the Pie Hole, who happens to have a very special gift. Ned can touch people and bring them back to life but it comes with a cost. Once he touches them to bring them back to life, he can never touch them again, as he sadly found out with his mother when he was just a young boy. Ned brings his childhood sweetheart, Charlotte “Chuck” Charles (Anna Friel), back to life after she is murdered on a cruise ship. The two quickly form a bond and relationship and find a way to get past not being able to touch one another.

Season 2 of Pushing Daisies will pick up right where season 1 left off, especially since the episodes that will air this fall were originally meant to be part of the first season.  Ned and Chuck will have to deal with their relationship, after she finds out that he is the reason her father died when she was so young.  Emerson and Ned continue to team up to solve murders and in season 2, will deal with sexy clients, deceased chefs, and world famous magicians.  It's all in a day's work in the strange and wonderful world of Pushing Daisies.
