First we had a sneak peak into the auditions, and then we had a first-hand account from one aspiring designer for Season Four of Project Runway. Both gave us some idea of what Tim Gunn and the other judges were looking for through the audition process. Colorful characters are always a must for any reality television show, but one of the strengths of Project Runway has always been that it does make some effort to find actual talent and point of view, and it appeared this season's search was continuing in that tradition.

And, based on recent comments from Tim Gunn himself, it would appear that Project Runway found exactly what it was looking for in this next crop of designers.

It's astounding that Tim has time to sleep much less offer up any details regarding Season Four. In addition to his work on Project Runway, he will now have his own reality show on Bravo, Tim Gunn's Guide to Style, premiering September 6. He also has a book that just recently came out, and he just finished up the accompanying book tour. Of course, there's also his new day job as Chief Creative Officer for Liz Claiborne. And who can forget (although some would like to) his guest starring role in the nearly universally-panned webisodes of “Sprays in the City,” the animated series about salad dressing and fake butter. If that weren't enough, on a personal note, he recently moved from the apartment he had lived in for the past sixteen years.

But somewhere in all that frenzy, he found time to dish about what Project Runway fans can expect from this upcoming season, and so dish he did, saying to E! Online "I can tell you this with affording impunity: It is the most talented group of designers [yet], in terms of point of view and execution."

Filming on the upcoming season has just wrapped, however, eager fans will have to still wait until this winter to actually see the finished product.
