Tonight is the REAL finale of
Project Runway and I will accept nothing short of a Christian Siriano victory. Don't get me wrong. I love all three designers but we all have to have a favorite. Tim Gunn has said that this is the strongest season yet but this is my first one I've watched. I'm hooked. I'm in love. Tonight, the designers head to Fashion Week to show their final collections on the runway. I'll be scanning the crowd shots to see if I can find myself but it's a long shot. Thank God there weren't cameras around when I climbed over two rows of chairs in a skirt to get to Kevin Christiana! It's time for some live thoughts so keep refreshing and post your comments, too!

Tim is inspecting the designers' final collections. Christian looks a little worried about catching a glimpse of what Rami brought to New York. Tim also worries that Christian overdesigned and that's making ME nervous!
Time for model casting, something that is new to Jillian. They all want some of the same girls, which was bound to happen. Now that they've compromised and made their choices, they work on makeup and fittings.
Jillian is trying to change out one of her models. That stinks. Some girl thought she was going to get to walk in Fashion Week only to have that taken away from her. The modeling industry is a cruel business, I guess. She certainly isn't getting any sympathy from Christian, who says its her own fault for being inexperienced. Never mind, she can't change her girl anyway. She's stuck with who she picked.
Where is
Top Model winner, Jaslene Gonzalez? All this talk of her models and we have yet to see her!
Tim gives a speech about how proud he is of them, they're all winners, they're all superb, and so on.
JASLENE SIGHTING! Finally. They didn't focus on the fact that several
Top Model alumni were in the show at all. Cross promoting, I guess?
Celebrity sightings in the crowd: Nikki Taylor, Tyson Beckford, Gail Simmons, Ted Allen, and Padma Lakshmi.
I wouldn't call myself the biggest Jillian fan but her outfits are awesome at Fashion Week. As Christian would say, it's "fierce".
Rami is up next. While I find him to be a solid designer, the outfits just don't wow me. What I can say about his clothes is that they are certainly wearable and marketable and that sets him apart. I suppose it'll come down to what the judges appreciate more from the designers.
The judges are probably going to have a problem with the fact that Christian used mostly black in his collection but it is just so good.
After looking at the three collections, I almost feel like I'm off and Jillian is going to win. I have no idea what's going to happen.
I JUST SAW MYSELF IN THE BACKGROUND!!! I walked back while they were interviewing Nick Verreos and screamed, "ME! ME! ME!" Ha ha!
Okay I'm focusing. The judges are weighing in on the designs. Jillian gets mixed reviews but the judges did seem to like what she did. Almost everyone loves Christian's work except that he used black too much. Knew it. Rami's work is called cohesive and diverse.
As the judges debate, I'm so nervous!
Jillian is out. Before Rami? I'm surprised. CHRISTIAN WON!! I'm SO HAPPY!!!! Victoria just told him that she would be honored to wear anything he designs. He'll be talking to BuddyTV tomorrow in an exclusive interview. Check back to hear what this fierce designer has to say.
