Project Runway's Tim Gunn Lands His Own Show
Tim Gunn, fashion designer popularly known for being a mentor at the reality series Project Runway, has landed a production deal with Bravo for his own show called Tim Gunn's Guide to Style. The show focuses on helping and transforming unfortunate fashion victims to stylish individuals.

While Project Runway only focuses Gunn as a mentor, Tim Gunn's Guide to Style showcases Gunn as the star of the show, as well as his ability to do stylish makeovers. In the show, Gunn will be able to utilize his massive fashion experience to help ordinary people shine.
Moreover, Gunn is ecstatic with this new venture. He says, "I'm practically delirious that Bravo has given me this incredible opportunity and together, we vow to redefine makeovers…This series aims to be one-part education with two-parts fun, and you'll see me being a fashion therapist, not a svengali."

The network is also excited about this new project. According to Frances Berwick, executive vice president of programming and production, "Bravo is extremely lucky to have Tim Gunn as a part of our family…We want our viewers to see his own opinions, his personal ideas on style, fashion and more. I am pleased to bring Tim Gunn's Guide to Style to our viewers, because they have certainly been asking for more of him,”

In line with his own show, Gunn is also bound to release a manual called Tim Gunn: A
Guide to Quality, Taste & Style
that will be published in May 2007. The book, as well as his reality show, will cover much topics and subject matters like revamping closets, proper grooming, selecting accessories, choosing clothes, and many more.

And despite his new show, Gunn remains to be seen on the show that brought him to the limelight, Project Runway.
