Even though season 5 of the hit fashion design competition
Project Runway is slated to begin in less than two weeks, Bravo has been completely quiet about the new cast of characters that will be making evening gowns out of bubblegum wrappers this go around. While it has been confirmed that host
Heidi Klum, mentor
Tim Gunn, and judges
Nina Garcia and
Michael Kors are back, who will be the designers?
Though the full cast has yet to be revealed, rumors have been flying around the Internet about the identities of two potential contestants. One is a young Seattle barista, the other a long-time designer from Detroit. One has the look, the other the credentials -- but do they have what it takes to win
Project Runway's top prize?

Isn't this Joe dude a little overqualified? And is the show still going to Lifetime? I won't watch it there.
41-year-old Joe Faris is the Detroit designer. He has worked as a senior designer for such high-profile companies as Bugle Boy, Donna Karen, Ralph Lauren, Perry Ellis and Pelle Pelle. He most recently made a splash in the design world with a collection inspired by tattoo art, called Inkslingers USA.
A graduate of Parsins School of Design, Faris has been a sportswear designer for 18 years. In 2000 he created the successful urban sportswear clothing brand Red Fly that reached millions of sales worldwide.

The other rumored designer is 23-year-old Blayne, a barista from West Seattle. Though not much is known about Blayne, he worked at Seattle's Hotwire Coffee for over two years and was one of the coffee shop's many talented latte artists. His very proud boss is the one who leaked the info to the Internet, along with some of his photos.
Will either of these two men be the next
Christian Siriano? For now, their involvement with
Project Runway's fifth season is just a rumor, so they may not even be in the race at all. The full, official list of contestants will likely be unveiled by Bravo next week. Be there when the new group of designers take on their first challenge when
Project Runway season 5 begins airing July 16 at 9pm on Bravo.
Based on what little we know, which potential Project Runway contestant will last the longest?
