Project Runway: Preview of Episode 8 "A Fashionable New Beginning"
Even though I can't imitate Heidi Klum's trademark voice, let's just get started on the "This week on Project Runway" preview.  We're all embarking on "A Fashionable New Beginning," which is a low point for the show when it comes to titles.  It's the eighth episode and they're talking about starting things off?  Something's just not right.

As usual, there's got to be some other meaning to what the title hints at.  Will the designers be making clothes for cavemen? I can't exactly say what's up given the short clip at the end of last episode though.  All I saw was another white explosion from Nicholas.

On "A Fashionable New Beginning," there's a big surprise for the Project Runway designers as they're given new models for a challenge.  That's not all, since the pressure keeps building up with every second they're closer to the deadline.  The preview showed us Gordana breaking down, Tim Gunn calling Epperson's design a lab coat, and one of the guest judges saying one design's a tragedy.  Even Michael Kors just went right out and referred to one design as "double ugly."

Things weren't too great on the last episode of Project Runway too.  Titled "The Sky is the Limit", the designers were tasked to create a couple of blue garments for Macy's INC as they worked in pairs.  Five team leaders were picked, and it was a sky-sea of blue over at Mood for fabrics.

Lucky Nicholas dodged elimination since he had immunity at the time, but the winner was Irina.  She snagged herself a spot with Macy's, designing a holiday dress to be sold in select stores.

Despite that happy news, there was another designer that was booted out of the competition - Louise Black.  It was evident by how she forgot the money they needed to buy fabric and how she couldn't manage her time with that ruffled dress.  She was already in the bottom two before, but it's definitely the ruffles that went wrong.

Ruffles or not (and hopefully not), don't miss tonight's episode of Project Runway airing at 10pm on Lifetime.
