Project Runway

It’s a busy time for Project Runway season 4 winner Christian Siriano. He is busy designing outfits, as promised, for Victoria Beckham. He is also preparing a spring collection for the next Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. His collection will be filled with “really wearable, sellable pieces and my creative pieces,” as he put it in his BuddyTV interview. Christian has also made appearances on Late Night with Jay Leno and The Ellen Degeneres Show and last week, he appeared to help the contestants on Bravo’s Make Me A Supermodel.

Christian made a dress specifically for Holly but promised to help all the models on the catwalk. He also gave each contestant advice on improving their runway walk for their three looks. For the creative walk, Christian felt that Ben needed to lighten up a little bit and not be so serious. He told Perry that he liked his walk but to give a more intense pose at the end. Ronnie needed to work on focusing his eyes on one spot while Holly got a lesson in being sassy.

In his interview with Bravo, Christian said that Ben needed more time with an agency to help groom him for the industry. He seemed to be most keen on Perry, feeling that he had a good chance to do well in the finale, should he make it there. He was sad to see Holly’s bob go to a shorter cut, wished she was taller, and wanted to see more personality from her. Christian offered some backhanded compliments about Ronnie, calling him dopey and saying his eyes were lazy. He did feel that the gay community may be what’s keeping in the competition and said he’d be sad if he was eliminated. After he finished giving his critiques, he headed out and was not seen again in the episode.
