Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York and former wife of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, is reportedly in talks of appearing as a guest judge on the reality show Project Runway.

Although Ferguson’s appearance hasn’t been confirmed yet by the network or by Ferguson herself, talks about her presence on the show is gradually becoming more controversial. According to a source of Britain's Daily Express newspaper, "Sarah is a style icon here in the States. The people behind 'Project Runway' think she'd be perfect as a judge…they think she'll bring style, grace and elegance to the program. They're going all out to sign her up. They won't take no for an answer and apparently Sara is sounding enthusiastic about it."

Aside from being known as a former member of the British Royal Family, Ferguson, 47, is also known for her numerous charity works. She has also published many children’s books, produced films and has appeared in various talk shows like The View, Today Show, and The Tyra Banks Show.

This wasn’t the first time Ferguson was linked to reality television shows. Previously, controversy surfaced when she expressed her desire to join the celebrity dance competition Dancing with the Stars. "I'd quite like to go on 'Dancing With The Stars.' I'd like them to teach me the tango," she said last year.

Ferguson also became the subject of the news when she turned down the offer to be a judge on the reality talent completion Britain’s Got Talent due to her charity commitments. She said earlier this month, "They asked me to be a judge on 'Britain's Got Talent,' which I would have loved to do but sadly it clashed with my commitments for the Ronald McDonald Foundation which is a charity I'm very closely involved with."
