It seems that
Lauren Conrad’s career is on a roll, with fashion design gigs, guest appearances and of course, her successful reality series,
The Hills. We recently reported that the 22-year-old reality TV star and fashion designer will be appearing as herself in the teen dramedy,
Greek, in which she will be playing herself. Now, Hollyscoop is reporting that Lauren Conrad has landed another guest stint on an upcoming teen series.
LC, as she is famously being referred to, will be appearing on an episode of the upcoming CW series,
Privileged, which stars
Joanna Garcia,
Lucy Hale and
Ashley Newbrough.
The series revolves around Yale graduate and aspiring journalist Megan Smith (Joanna Garcia) as she gets fired from her tabloid job and later meets cosmetics mogul Laurel Limoges, who then hires Megan to be her granddaughter’s live-in tutor. Megan is then forced to deal with heiresses Rose (Lucy Hale) and Sage Baker (Ashley Newbrough), who do not immediately get along with Megan.
Lauren Conrad will be appearing in the October 7 episode of
Privileged, where she will be playing herself. In fact, she is supposedly attending a party hosted by Rose and Sage, which will later go out of hand.
LC’s
Greek episode, which also happens to be the series’ season finale, will be aired on October 28.
Despite her growing number of TV series appearances, the 22-year-old says that she isn’t much of an actress. In a conversation with Ryan Seacrest, she said, “I'm not good at acting — I'm not going to pretend to be.”
In other LC news, the reality star was recently spotted at Brody Jenner’s birthday get together in Cabo San Lucas. Conrad and Jenner were also accompanied by
Audrina Patridge, who partied the night away at LG Villa, a private mansion in the Mexican resort town. Witnesses say that the two-day birthday bash was spent surfing, partying and simply kicking back for Jenner’s 25th birthday.
