There's a lot of returning shows to look forward to this winter and
Privileged is one of the dramas on many teens' lists. The adaptation of the popular Zoey Dean novel
How to Teach Filthy Rich Girls centers on 23-year-old Yale graduate Megan Smith whose plan to conquer the world of journalism is thrown off course when she becomes the live-in tutor of the twin teen granddaughters of a wealthy cosmetics mogul in Palm Beach, Florida.
Last time on
Privileged, Megan received an unexpected visit from her mother just as she was finally beginning to adjust having a relationship with her father. On the other hand, Sage tried to resist her feelings for Luis and Will found it difficult to comprehend Megan's family issues.
In tonight's episode called "All About What Lies Beneath," Megan (
Joanna Garcia) finally gathers the courage to confront her mother Shelby (Sharon Lawrence) without any sugarcoating about how she really feels about being abandoned when Shelby tells her that Will (
Brian Hallisay) is a playboy who will never commit. Meanwhile, Sage (
Ashley Newbrough) and Rose (
Lucy Hale) plan a charity event for Cuban refugees as an excuse for Sage to spend more time with Luis (Ignacio Serricchio). However, the plan backfires when Luis reveals he is not of Cuban descent.
At the same time, Marco's (
Allan Louis) boyfriend Keith (David Monahan) encourages Marco to quit his job and open his own cafe, but they end up arguing about their future together. Charlie (
Michael Cassidy), on the other hand, decides to go back to school, but his girlfriend Mandy (Alice Greczyn) becomes jealous and when she learns he'll be spending study time with Megan. Furthermore, Megan receives a shocking phone call telling her that her sister Lily (
Kristina Apgar) is being held in prison.

Privileged tonight at 9pm ET/PT on The CW.
