With all that
Prison Break has to offer when it comes to action and suspense, it’s a little surprising that a video game based on the Fox drama has not been released. You can just picture pumping your arms with a Wii controller to outrun Kellerman or furiously tapping the X-button on your Xbox 360 to fight off a rowdy Sona inmate. Though the video game industry is not quite there, they get things started with a mobile game based on
Prison Break, that will be available to consumers this summer.

Back in January, Vivendi announced that they had plans to release several new mobile games this year based on popular television shows and movies. Among that list were The Bourne Conspiracy, The Spiderwick Chronicles, and Prison Break. This week, they announced that Prison Break would be available for cell phone users to download this June. The first screenshots hit the internet this week and the game seems very in depth with a lot of appeal for die hard fans of the show.
In the game, you must lead Michael Scofield through 36 maps across 12 different environments. The game follows the storyline of the show so Michael starts in Fox River and it will be your job to get him to break out. The game will, of course, feature puzzles but also requires you to interact with other inmates and guards as well as collecting items that will help you in your quest. From the looks of the screenshots, the game seems to be following the storyline of season 1 and it is assumed that once you break out of Fox River, you have beaten the game. If the game is successful, it could launch sequels to the game or a larger version for a video game system such as PlayStation.
Will you buy the Prison Break mobile game?
