Prison Break

There's only one way to be a character on Prison Break and that's to be the biggest badass your hometown has ever seen.  You then up that to becoming the biggest badass your state, your country, your continent has ever seen.  You're hunted down by others, you think nothing of taking out someone who stands in your way, you hatch clever plans, and you outlast your fellow badasses.  As we suffer through this WGA strike together, we are left with ways to pass the time before our next new episode of Prison Break.  Speaking of, that next new episode sent from heaven arrives on our televisions this Monday.  Until then, let's take a look at this season's baddies and determine who's the best of them all.  Today's round features three nominees.  The winner from each round moves on to a final where we can crown: Prison Break's Biggest Badass.


ROUND 1 NOMINEE: MICHAEL SCOFIELD

Only a badass has the ability to break out of not one, but two prisons.  He's a master manipulator, finding a way to appease everyone around him (if only for a moment so he can get ahead).  When he and Whistler were forced to fight to the death in the prison yard, he fought back and fought hard after Whistler threw the first punch.  He also successfully stopped Whistler from escaping Sona via helicopter.  Scofield may have a good heart and good intentions but underneath that lies an angry, aggressive man none of us would want to tango with.


ROUND 1 NOMINEE: ALEXANDER MAHONE

Let's not forget that Mahone ended season 2 by killing Michael and Lincoln's father.  He'd have to the man whose father he killed when he and Michael and both locked up in Sona.  When Mahone finds out that there's a bounty on Whistler's head, he goes and finds him himself.  He has confronted and gotten physical with Michael, threatening to kill him if he doesn't let him be part of the escape plan.  After killing a prisoner who threatened his chances of breaking out, he is brought back to the states in order to testify against The Company.  His inability to kick his drug habit prohibited from providing a solid testimony and he's headed back to Sona.  Mahone's the kind of guy that, at first glance, you'd think would keep you safe.  The only problem is that you're in more danger with him than some of the worst criminals out there.


ROUND 1 NOMINEE: SUSAN B. ANTHONY

Sure, she started out as a hot girl in a bar trying to pick up Lincoln but it was all a ruse.  In actuality, she is an operative for The Company, a secret agency.  Her mission is to break James Whistler out of Sona prison and she has no problem going to extreme lengths to make sure she accomplishes her task.  She killed a gravedigger after suspecting that he would tell the police about her working relationship with Michael and Lincoln.  She also has threatened and attempted to kill LJ several times in order to get Lincoln to cooperate.  Her most heinous crime was murdering Sara Tancredi, the love of Michael's life, and delivering her head in a box to the brothers.  Find me another woman as sexy and deadly as she and I'll give you five dollars.  Hey, it's all I can afford.
