On FOX's
Prison Break, Michael and company are certainly in a tough situation right now. They're at the mercy of the U.S. government and unsafe no matter where they go. Currently holed up in a warehouse with ankle monitors on them at all times, they found out last night that recovering the one Scylla data card was not enough. In fact, there are 6 cards in total and each one is in the possession of a different member of The Company. You didn't think the boys (and Sara) were going to get off that easy, did you? Agent Don Self became frustrated with this revelation and gave them only until the end of the day to retrieve another card. That is, until the Department of Homeland Security decided to shut down the operation.
The problem right now is that clearly, Michael and his gang of merry ex-cons can't trust anybody. Without much warning, agents closed in on everybody and tried to bring them back to prison after the Scylla operation had the plug pulled. Sara, fully knowing that Michael was capable of getting the information, surrendered so that he could run. If Agent Self or anyone else had just listened to him, they would've known that a meeting about Scylla between Company members. Did anyone else think it was ridiculous that the meeting was a hop, skip, and a jump away and nobody would listen to him?
With the government willing to throw these people back into prisons at any given time, they can't be trusted. They're not really trying to eventually have them live normal, free lives. They're only using them to their advantage. However, it's not like The Company can't be trusted either. Their top assassin is on a murderous rampage in order to get to Michael and Lincoln and is currently working on Bruce Bennett, a political figure who is a friend of the Tancredi family. He hasn't killed him just yet, he just keeps injecting him with drugs that put him in a hallucinogenic phase that makes him tell the truth. By the way, I was totally freaked out by the picnic setup. It gave me chills and creeped me out big time.
Now, with Bruce having given up Sara's location, it seems that Wyatt will be closing in on her and Michael. A showdown between The Company, the government, and Michael's group is surely coming and I can't wait. For now, I'll settle for their run-in and confrontation with T-Bag on next week's episode.
