Prison Break has been better than ever this season, with jaw dropping moments in just about every episode.  Just when it seemed that Michael had taken down The Company, and retrieved Scylla for the Department of Homeland Security, they are backstabbed by Agent Don Self.  Self is now on the run with Scylla, while just about every government organization (and deadly, secret organizations) are hunting Michael down.  He and the others will not be free, as they were promised, and they'll have to continue fighting and risking their lives in order to take The Company down, retrieve Scylla, and prove to Homeland Security that they're actually the good guys.  The winter finale is rapidly approaching and here's a look at what fans can expect over the next 3 episodes.

On Monday night’s episode, Michael continues his obsession with taking The Company down and refuses to go through with his surgery until his mission is accomplished. He asks Sara for a higher dosage of medication to try to help postpone his need for surgery but the higher dosage means side effects that are worse than the tumor itself. Sara pleads with Michael, saying that if something happens to him then Lincoln will feel guilty for the rest of his life since they are all in this current situation because Michael broke him out of Fox River. She tells him that he is bordering on fanaticism and he says that it is the only way to be in order to bring down The Company. “Even if it kills you?” she asks. Good point.

Coming up on Prison Break, Lincoln makes a deal with the devil. That devil could be T-Bag, who Linc reunites with in episode 15, “Going Under”. Mahone goes to prison and is escorted by former coworkers Wheeler and Lang. Is Mahone really in trouble or is this part of some master plan? Michael will also finally undergo surgery and he will be awake for the procedure the entire time. However, during the surgery, he begins uncovering the mystery of Scylla thanks to Charles Westmoreland. Yep. You heard me right.

In episode 16, “The Sunshine State” which will air on Monday, December 22, Lincoln will head to Miami with his new partners. There, he’ll attempt to recover Scylla from its surprising new owner. Sara searches for Michael, who has inexplicably gone missing. Michael ends up uncovering something from his past. Prison Break will return in the spring of 2009 with new episodes but in this winter finale, a double-crossing will end with someone’s arrest and another’s death!
