Prison Break Star Could Face Manslaughter Charge
Prison Break actor Lane Garrison is facing charges from his recent car crash that nearly ended his life and did take the life of one of his passengers. The 25-year old actor caused the death of a 17-year old male passenger and severely injured two 15-year old girls. Lane's blood alcohol level was 0.15 percent, far beyond the California limit of 0.08 percent. In addition, cocaine was found in his blood which may have aggravated his recklessness even more.
Garrison played David "Tweener" Apolskis on the series Prison Break which should have provided him some perspective on prison life and more reasons to avoid prison time. Ironically, he now faces vehicular manslaughter charges. Severely injuring two other passengers will further complicate and add graveness to the case. If convicted, Lane Garrison could be sentenced to more than 10 years in prison. His case is still being handled by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office. Nonetheless, Lane Garrison's defense attorney maintains a brave face and admits that Garrison had a drink but was not driving under the influence of alcohol. He further hints that brake problems in Garrison's vehicle may have played a role in the crash. Source: CNN
