Last night, at approximately 8:59pm ET, I did a little dance in my living room. Why, you ask? Because Sucre managed to make it through the
Prison Break season finale without dying! Every description of last night’s episode pointed to Sucre facing an untimely death, saying that he paid “the ultimate sacrifice” for his friend Michael. That ultimate sacrifice was trading his freedom for Michael’s. Sucre is now a prisoner in Sona, Lechero is dead, T-Bag seems to be running the joint. Overall, last night’s episode left me feeling satisfied but wanting more. However, I’m going to have to take some points off for a few things.

The first thing I’m taking points off for is Michael’s escape from the museum with Lincoln and LJ. Susan had guards at every door with guns ready to shoot the minute the brothers stepped outside. Instead of taking his chances, Michael smashed a glass case so that the alarm would go off. Who didn’t see that coming? Also, why wasn’t anybody else in that room or notice a semi-standoff going on? This brings me to my next point.
I’m taking points off for stupid behavior when on the run. First, Michael and Lincoln go on a high speed car chase just hours after Mike breaks out of Sona. Then, the chase goes to foot where guns are pulled and Whistler is assaulted. Later, when Sofia is shot, Lincoln runs to her side instead heading out on the run. Finally, Michael pulls a gun out in public, pointing it at Susan, to make her pay for killing Sara. How does no one notice a man standing outside in a very crowded, public place pointing a gun at someone?
Not that I want people dying but I swear, the characters on
Prison Break are superhuman. Sofia gets shot, Sucre is practically buried alive but soon after, everyone seems to have recovered pretty nicely. Can I get someone in critical condition?
Points will be awarded to the episode tomorrow for its very strong points (and believe me, there were many). For now, what do you wish
