Prison Break

Prison Break fans finally received the news they’ve been waiting for. The season 3 DVD got its release date for North America: August 28th. The 4 disc set is currently available on Amazon’s website for a retail price of $31.99. In season, Michael made his way in and out of Sona, a Panamanian prison. Forced by The Company to break out a very valuable prisoner, Michael only agreed to the terms in order to keep LJ and Sara safe. Unfortunately for Michael, he is under the assumption that The Company killed Sara and is now out for vengeance. Season 4 filming recently got underway and photos have been popping up that gives viewers a little taste of what they can expect.

Yesterday, pics of Wentworth Miller on set popped up on Just Jared’s website. In the first set of photos, he is dressed as a waiter, carrying boxes in a parking lot. Those scenes were filmed at the Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles. In the second set of photos, Michael Scofield is dressed in a black suit and is seen running around with another actor who appears to be an agent. One week earlier, photos surfaced of Dominic Purcell, Marshall Allman, and Danay Garcia. It seems that Lincoln and LJ stick with Sofia, even after parting ways with Michael.

BuddyTV announced a few weeks ago that Michael Rappaport will be joining the show for season 4.  Several news sources have confirmed now that he will play the government agent with an interesting offer for Michael and Lincoln.  His character will have inside information that can help dismantle The Company from the inside out and joins forces with the brothers on their revenge mission.

Prison Break will return for its fourth season with a 2 hour premiere on August 25th at 9pm ET.
