The ratings for
Prison Break may not be what they once were, but that doesn’t mean that FOX is ready to pull the plug on the series before the end of the season. Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello reassured fans this week that they would get to see all 22 episodes of season 4 and the good news didn’t stop there. "Speaking of PB, based on what I'm hearing about the next few episodes, producers should bag the women in prison spinoff and pitch Fox Gretchen and T-Bag instead," he revealed.
Michael and his band of merry ex-cons have already retrieved several data cards from The Company and this Monday, they’ll head to Vegas to pick up another one. Here’s a look at the newest episode, “Five The Hard Way”.
** WARNING! POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD! **
You may remember last week, Gretchen headed to her sister’s house to retrieve some items that she left there for emergency use only. Those items included credit cards and a gun. This week, she’ll catch up with T-Bag, after finding out that he’s been stealing Whistler’s identity, who was pretending to be Cole Pfeiffer, a top salesman for Gate Corporation. Gretchen will stop at nothing to find out just who the hell T-Bag thinks he is getting in over his head with The Company.
She knocks T-Bag out cold and ties him to a chair. When he comes to, she gives him 30 seconds to tell her something that she doesn’t already know, all while wielding a knife at him. He remains calm, telling her that the bird book is useless because only he knows where the keys to Whistler’s locker are. Gretchen doesn’t take too kindly to that, jamming the knife into his arm and threatening to put it in his gut next. She’s determined to get her hands on Scylla and she’ll either do that with him or through him.
The two must team up because, in the promo, T-Bag heads to find Michael in Vegas. He takes him at gunpoint and tells him that the two of them are going to go into a dark hole underground. “This is how it’s gonna go down,” T-Bag menacingly says. Since we all know
Prison Break isn’t going to kill off Michael midway through season 4, it will be interesting to see how he gets himself out of this mess. T-Bag’s well overdue for another ass whooping, that’s for sure.
