When I first saw the title for last night's Prison Break episode, "Selfless", I immediately thought that someone gave their life for Michael.  I worried most, of course, for Lincoln and Sucre.  Early in the season, Sara and Michael discussed a story in mythology involving the word Scylla, in which a man had to sacrifice everyone in order to achieve his goal.  With Bellick already dead, and with a showdown looming between Michael and The Company, it seemed no one was safe.  When Michael and everyone in his group made it out of The Company's headquarters alive and had Scylla in hand, the title of the episode caused me to shift my focus to Don Self.  I thought perhaps Trish Ann would shoot him in the end, take Scylla, and go on the run with T-Bag.  Imagine my surprise when the world selfless meant that Don was never working with Michael at all.  He was with The Company.

Oh The Company - they are so clever.  The entire season they've been talking about moving Scylla but how were they going to pull this off?  Don roped Michael in, pumped him full of false promises and hope that he and his men (and Sara) would all become free if they were able to retrieve Scylla for him.  Michael did everything that was asked of him and broke into one of the world's most secure buildings.  The question now seems to be: why couldn't The General or anyone else just move it and just how many people knew about using Michael to move The Company's most valuable possession?

There are BuddyTV readers who think that Don is just a selfish lowlife, looking to score some cash by selling Scylla to the highest bidder.  I still think that he's working with The Company.  Let's not forget that The General delivered a speech last night to Michael, letting him know that his agents are imbedded everywhere - government agencies, local law enforcements, even hospitals.  Does anyone else feel nervous about Michael's operation?  It seems pretty impossible that Don could have pulled off taking Scylla from Michael all by himself but if he did, and if he really just is a lowlife, he won't last five mintues on the street with that thing.
