Next month, the cast of
Prison Break will come together to begin filming season 4. Among those returning is
Sarah Wayne Callies, whose character Sara Tancredi, is alive and well after all. Last season, Lincoln found her head (or what he thought was her head) in a box, delivered to him by The Company. In order to explain her return,
Prison Break executive producer Matt Olmstead told E! News that they will tell her story through a series of flashbacks. Now, as fans prepare for the return of Sara Tancredi, it was revealed late this week that two new characters would join the cast of
Prison Break for season 4.

TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello handed out some major season 4 scoop this week. According to him,
Prison Break will be introducing two new characters this fall who will become major players in the war between Michael and The Company. On Michael’s side, we’ll meet Don, an FBI handler who has strategies and tactics for bringing The Company down from the inside out. On The Company’s side, we have Penrab, a deadly assassin who’s been waiting to take somebody out.
As is almost always the cast on
Prison Break, these new characters will most likely not just be good or bad, per se. Mahone and Kellerman have been baddies with a soft spot for Michael and Lincoln at one time or another. Whether or not we can trust Don and Penrab remains to be seen.
In DVD news, the
Prison Break season 3 DVD will (unfairly) hit the U.K. first on May 19th and cost £39.99 which would run almost twice as much here in the states. The boxed set will feature Director’s Take videos and a behind the scenes look at filming of the first episode of season 3. There has been no official release date announced yet for North America.
Who are you most excited to see in season 4?
