prison break bad bloodOh. My. God. Prison Break ‘Bad Blood’ has a theme. It’s all about character turns. A character turn being analogous to somebody switching sides, or revealing a secret facet to themselves that makes you question what you knew about them all along. The character turns in this episode of Prison Break where in league with some of the greatest Prison Break twists ever. After watching 'Bad Blood', I really questioned where things could go from here. Prison Break seems to be spiraling towards a confrontation that could spell the end of its primary arc. Particularly, with some of the new allegiances that were formed.

For the past couple of episodes, there has been a sort of formulaic shroud falling over Prison Break. Who will Mahone kill this week; will Adelstein turn on the boys in a moment of self serving redemption; what indignity will t-bag subject his family to this week; how will c-note sustain his dysfunctional family as his daughter gets sicker and sicker.

All of that came to an end this week on Prison Break, or at least most of it, as the dominos began to fall in unexpected ways. Beginning with the return of Pope. Michael and Sara showed up to get Pope to retrieve the evidence from the cigar club. Talk about reluctant… they practically had to put a gun to his head… at one point, they did! Pope gets the evidence which turns out to be just what the doctor ordered. In the end he is in line with the cause, and also under the watchful eye of the evil agents of the company.

T-Bag finally came to his senses after locking his family up in an abandoned house and called the police to rescue them. He was in tears at the end of this scene. In a way, I was sad to see this thread end. What adventures lay ahead for T-Bag now?

Perhaps the biggest and most shocking turn was C-Note. With his daughter getting sicker and sicker, and no means to get reliable medical care, he decides to turn himself in. He calls Mahone. The kicker? He wants his wife released. Now, what would compel Mahone to do that? Easy. C-Note will help Mahone capture the boys. That’s right, C-Note is Mahone’s new dog.

Now that the boys have the evidence they need, they are poised for Washington. But will C-Note stand in their way? Awesome episode! Can’t wait for next week’s Prison Break.
