Primeval, the British science fiction cult drama produced by Impossible Pictures for ITV, is now coming to the U.S. The series revolves around a team of scientists who investigate anomalies in time and deal with the prehistoric and future creatures that travel through.  Get ready when the past and present collide on August 9 at 9pm ET/PT on BBC America.

Leading Primeval is evolutionary zoologist Nick Cutter (Douglas Henshall), who uncovers that prehistoric creatures are alive and well in the present day.  As creatures from the most primitive stages of Earth's development roam the modern world, unexplained anomalies arise, becoming a threat to the existence of humanity.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Now, it's up to Cutter and his team to keep the looming disaster secret, while dealing with ruthless dinosaurs and other deadly foes.  To make things worse, Cutter also has to deal with an intense personal dilemma as he finds out that his wife, who is believed to be dead as she has been missing for eight years, has actually been traveling in the past.  Though she's back with possible solutions to the mysterious anomalies, it doesn't mean that she's willing to share the answers.  Catch this energetic thriller every Saturday at 9pm following its premiere episode.

In addition to Douglas Henshall, Primeval also stars Andrew-Lee Potts (Return to House on Haunted Hill, Ideal) as Connor Temple, Ben Miller (Moving Wallpaper, The Worst Week of My Life) as Sir James Peregrine Lester, Hannah Spearritt (Viva S Club, S Club 7 in Hollywood) as Abby Maitland, James Murray (Cutting It, North Square) as Stephen Hart, Juliet Aubrey (Caught in the Act, Dalziel and Pascoe) as Helen Cutter, and Lucy Brown (Whatever Love Means, Malice Aforethought) as Claudia Brown/Jennifer Lewis.

Primeval is created by Adrian Hodges (Tell Me That You Love Me) and Tim Haines (Walking with Dinosaurs, Walking with Beasts, and Walking with Monsters).
